About Me

I'm Robyn Ramsell, a qualified therapeutic counsellor and coach passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges with compassion and understanding.

About Me

I'm a Therapeutic Counsellor and Coach, offering online support to clients across the UK. My approach is integrative and client-centred, blending therapeutic insight with practical, future-focused strategies tailored to each person's unique path.

I bring a strong foundation in trauma-informed work, grounded in both professional experience and lived understanding of what it means to rebuild after loss, adversity, and emotional upheaval. My ethos is simple:

We cannot remove trauma or loss from life, but we can learn strategies to live beyond them.
Robyn Ramsell - Therapeutic Counsellor and Coach

Over the years, I've supported people navigating complex challenges, including grief, illness, trauma, and major life transitions. My work includes emotional and practical support for individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, addiction, bereavement, and personal or professional change. I've worked extensively with victims of crime and individuals from the uniformed and emergency services, offering trauma-sensitive, respectful care tailored to those unique experiences.

My clients describe me as calm, empathetic, open-minded, supportive, and pragmatic. These values underpin how I work. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore difficult emotions and build the tools needed to face life's uncertainties with more confidence and clarity.

I have particular experience supporting people navigating significant life transitions, including those facing an incurable diagnosis, processing grief and loss, or managing major career and job changes. These pivotal moments often require both emotional support and practical guidance to move forward with renewed purpose and resilience.

I believe in the strength and wisdom each person holds within. Sometimes we just need the right support to rediscover it.

My Approach – Integrative

I use an integrative approach, drawing from various therapeutic modalities to create a personalised experience that meets your unique needs.

Person-Centred

You are the expert on your own life. I provide a non-judgmental, accepting environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings safely.

Trauma-Informed

Understanding how trauma affects the mind and body, I create a safe space that honors your pace and respects your boundaries.

Solution-Focused

While honoring your past experiences, we focus on building your strengths and creating positive change for your future.

A Personal Tribute

A pivotal moment for me came in 2020, when someone I deeply respected tragically passed away. His kindness and friendship left a lasting impact on many. After speaking with his family, I was reminded that continuing to support others in crisis would be a meaningful way to honour his memory.

His photography, especially his striking images of red kites, inspired my practice's branding and serves as a quiet tribute to his life and legacy.

This is for you, GT.

The red kite holds special meaning for me and serves as a symbol of hope, resilience, and the possibility of soaring to new heights, no matter where we start our journey.
